2.Let it cook, add the stock, bay leaf, thyme and Worcestershire sauce. Continue to cook until the soup simmers. Remove the bay leaves, add salt and pepper as needed.
3.Toast the bread, while the soup is cooking.
4.Once the soup is ready to serve, place your oven-safe bowls on a thick baking sheet.
5.Fill the soup into a bowl, then top with a baguette slice and add your desired amount of cheese. Put in the oven and broil for 2-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
